Job Title:

Information Technology Operations Engineer

This position is a crucial part of our IT team responsible for implementing, managing and supporting cloud deployments, systems and services to ensure high levels of availability, redundancy and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure including Azure platforms (IaaS, Intune/Autopilot etc.)
  • Build deploy and manage Virtual Machines PaaS services such as Analytics and automation in the Azure Cloud environment
  • Lead and act as an SME for Azure platforms within the IT operations team
  • Create deployment guides Standard Operating Procedures and perform Knowledge Transfers to other members in the team

Requirements:

  • Computer Science/Information Technology degree or diploma or equivalent industry experience
  • Post-secondary education obtained by a community college or one or more professional designations
  • Up to 7 years of experience in Server and Cloud Administration
  • Microsoft Azure Certification (AZ100 or AZ300 preferred)
  • VMWare Virtualization Certification is an asset
  • Programming language experience is nice to have
