The Industry Process Success (IPS) team at BioVia has an opening for an Industry Process Specialist - Structures, a highly skilled and motivated candidate to join our team. You will develop new simulation methodologies/processes, support customer deployment and services to maintain and expand existing workflows using our Structure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer engagements to address their business transformation by re-engineering their processes, leveraging our Industry processes on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform for structural simulation workflows
  • Build a thorough understanding of customers' as-is workflows and requirements
  • Create new to-be simulation process for improved productivity and Optimizing product designs
  • Validate simulation results by comparison with measurement data or experiments
  • Develop Go-to-Market, prototypes and/or proof of concept implementations
  • Document the simulation processes and results in clear and comprehensive reports
  • Engage in cross-disciplinary projects, collaborate with other teams such as design and structures
  • Use SIMULIA software tools such as Abaqus, Fe-Safe, Tosca and applications on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform to develop and support structural workflows
  • Collaborate with various teams across GEO's, R&D and sales teams to ensure software quality through feedback
  • Validate the latest features in SIMULIA's structural analysis software

Qualifications:

  • M.Tech/ M.E degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field with a focus on structural simulation & product design
  • 0 - 3 years of experience in Structures simulation and solid mechanics in an industrial or research environment with expert knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge on Finite Element Analysis, Applied Solid Mechanics, Material Modeling and Numerical Methods
  • Proficiency and thorough hands-on experience on Abaqus for Structures simulation
  • Hands on experience with any preprocessing software like Hypermesh, Ansa
  • Experience and knowledge of existing methodologies in modeling and simulation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills quickly
