Job Title:

Backend API Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Backend API Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Python (FastAPI) and Node.js (Express).
  • Develop and maintain a microservices architecture using containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Ensure the security of APIs through authentication, authorization, and encryption (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
  • Optimize performance with caching strategies, load balancing, and asynchronous processing.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems for reliability and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to improve overall system design.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in backend development with a strong proficiency in Python and Node.js.
  • Excellent understanding of API security, performance optimization, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
