Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively discussing workflow management with clients, allocating professionals to assigned work and monitoring performance against standards.
  • Standardizing audit processes along with leveraging best practices across clients/engagements or beyond.
  • Helping team members grow by encouraging them to actively contribute to the team.
  • Conducting timely performance reviews and providing performance feedback and training.
  • Contributing to technical and soft-skills training to continually develop the team's skills.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies.
  • Resolving complex accounting/auditing issues and providing guidance on technical matters.

Required qualifications include:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Articleship with other Big4 or mid-tier accounting firms
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in US Audits for qualified candidates
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in US Audits for non-qualified candidates
  • Expert knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
  • Proficiency in using various audit tools and applications
  • Industry experience in Construction, Government, and Banking
  • Effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Project management, leadership, coaching, counseling, and supervisory skills
  • Ability to promote a positive work culture and live firm values
