Job Title:

Senior Analog IC Design Expert

About the Role:

This is a highly technical position that involves designing and developing analog and mixed-signal architectures and circuits in CMOS processes.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of taking complex circuit designs from concept to production, with a strong focus on delivering high-performance solutions.

We are looking for an expert who can lead comprehensive design reviews, supervise layout designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of the final product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop advanced analog and mixed-signal architectures and circuits in CMOS processes
  • Analyze technology, architecture, circuit design, and parametric design trade-offs to meet aggressive technical performance specifications
  • Perform transistor-level design and simulation using industry-leading EDA tools
  • Lead design reviews, supervise layout designers, and ensure design accuracy
  • Collaborate with digital design engineers, CAD teams, systems engineering, test engineering, and applications teams to ensure design for testability (DFT), design for manufacturability (DFM) features, and rapid silicon bring-up
  • Perform post-layout parasitic-extraction and back-annotated simulations to validate design integrity
  • Conduct Monte Carlo analysis to ensure Six-Sigma quality and yields
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • M.Tech/M.S or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proven track record of taking at least one analog-mixed signal part to high-volume production
  • Strong knowledge of EDA tools including Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE, Mixed-mode AMS tools, and Layout XL
  • Extensive experience with post-layout extraction and verification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with geographically dispersed teams of mixed-signal, digital, and verification engineers
  • Ability to work independently and drive solutions to challenging problems
