  • This role is a contract opportunity for 12 months on the payroll of Amazon.

Amazon Pay India is building a greenfield solution that aims to revolutionize Digital Payments in India by making every transaction trusted, convenient, and rewarding.

The ideal candidate will be working to shape the product, innovate on behalf of customers, and define key features that impact our business.

You will work with highly talented engineers to evolve the design and implementation of products owned by this team and set up a high-quality bar in a technical team of software engineers.

Our aim is to drive shoppers to Amazon during large promotional events like Diwali.

As a result, Amazon Pay has grown rapidly and enabled over 5 million neighborhood stores.

Our revenue grew over 64 per cent to Rs 1,370 crore over Rs 834.5 crore in fiscal 2019.

Your work will have a deep impact on how millions of customers shop on Amazon.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Overall development life cycle of the solution and manage complex projects with significant bottom-line impact.
  • Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary professionals to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
  • Instil best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
  • Operational Excellence - monitoring & operation of production services.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
