Software Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing software applications that meet the needs of our customers.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on application development, project management, and team collaboration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, design solutions, and develop high-quality software products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA engineers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 6-8 years of experience in software engineering, preferably with a focus on application development.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python), Agile methodologies, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).
  • Experience with testing frameworks and automation tools.
