Physics Research Specialist

We are seeking a Physics Research Specialist to collaborate with our team and contribute to the advancement of large language models in physics.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for fine-tuning and evaluating LLMs, helping them improve their understanding and problem-solving capabilities in complex physics areas such as mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum theory. This role involves working on research objectives that include solving advanced physics problems and developing new model evaluation strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze complex physics problems and develop novel approaches to solve them.
- Evaluate the performance of LLMs on various physics tasks and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with experts in AI and physics to advance frontier model capabilities and deploy real-world AI systems.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A PhD or Postdoc in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve advanced physics problems and communicate results effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience in remote work environments.
- Technical setup with reliable computer and internet access.
