Job Title: Cloud Architect (Java Fullstack/Microservices/AWS)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect with expertise in Java fullstack development, microservices, and AWS to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based systems using Java fullstack development, microservices, and AWS.
  • Participate in and lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) for upcoming technologically or functionally complex initiatives.
  • Research and apply new/advanced technology concepts to improve product and service offerings.
  • Provide high-level solution design for roadmap items and coordinate with other product architects.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
  • Coach SCRUM teams on design and coding best practices and review deliverables.
  • Ensure developed software meets all requirements of quality, performance, scalability, etc.
  • Conduct trainings, brown bags, and knowledge-sharing sessions for the development community.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background in Java technologies and excellent all-rounded IT skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Java fullstack development (expert level).
  • Knowledge on running containerized microservices on cloud (AWS preferred).
  • Good hands-on knowledge of HTML and Angular technologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and related technologies.
  • Microservice architecture, Event Driven architecture, BDD, Kubernetes knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAAS implementation and enablement of software is highly preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent.

  • A highly technical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Self-starter and self-learner, with a team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team.
  • Adept at analyzing and understanding requirements and creating appropriate technical designs.
  • Ability to independently research technologies/frameworks and tools for new design POCS and apply the most suitable.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging with excellent analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English, excellent communicator.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build good partnerships with local and global teams.
