Job Opportunity

This is a Mechanical Technician role that involves working on an O&M Contract at Ramanathapuram, where you will lead the Operation and Maintenance team to ensure 100% availability of machinery without process interruptions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure reliable operation of mechanical equipment.
  • Identify hazards and risks involved in day-to-day activities and assess control measures for a safe working environment.
  • Communicate with shift Incharge, SE Managers, and Workmen regarding all activities done at site and prepare required documentation.
  • Conduct Toolbox talks, Trainings, and Awareness sessions for day-to-day job activities and EHS.
  • Compile all guidelines and inspection records required for work performed at site.
  • Perform Start Stop Changeovers of Compressor trains as per requirements of Gas Compression.
  • Ensure the availability of all compressor packages for operation.
  • Continuously monitor the operation of Compressors and take immediate action on Predictive and preventive maintenance.
  • Condition monitoring of equipment and maintaining records as per SE guidelines and Contractual requirements.
  • Schedule periodic Maintenance activities of Compressor trains and associated auxiliary as per OEM guidelines and clients IMS schedule.
  • Inspect and Maintain EHS documentation required for site.
  • Prepare for site audits like Internal Client Technical EHS DGMS OISD Etc.
  • Perform on-hand job for compressor train schedule, Preventive predictive routine Breakdown maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot issues in compressor train and prepare failure analysis for issues.
  • Involvement in Monthly activities planning, maintaining records for spare parts, consumables, waste management, shutdown activities.
  • Internal auditing of Tools, consumables, PPEs, and documentation.
  • Upload all documentations related to site in internal servers.
Key Requirements
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical maintenance or related field.
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
