As an AWS Data Engineer, the candidate will work with offshore and onsite teams to design and implement cloud data engineering solutions like Enterprise Data lake, Data hub in AWS.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in AWS cloud technology and excellent planning and organization skills.

They must be able to interact with stakeholders, provide automated cloud solutions and have a good understanding of Cloud data migration processes, methods and project lifecycle.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Architecting and delivering highly scalable, distributed, cloud-based enterprise data solutions
  • Implementing end-to-end Cloud data engineering solutions like Enterprise Data lake, Data hub in AWS
  • Designing and implementing Lambda or Kappa Architectures
  • Understanding Data Management concepts and Data Modelling
  • Having hands-on expertise with AWS services like EMR, Glue, S3, Redshift & Dynamodb
  • Experience with Big Data frameworks and related technologies - Hadoop and Spark is mandatory
  • Good analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 4-8 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud data engineering solutions
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services and experience with Big Data frameworks and related technologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with stream-processing systems using solutions such as Storm or Spark-Streaming
  • Knowledge in Python
  • Worked in Offshore / Onsite Engagements
