Senior Accounting Specialist

">About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Specialist to oversee our financial operations, including record-keeping, financial reporting, compliance, and cash flow management.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and investment accounting. They will also possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Apart from these core responsibilities, they will be expected to maintain accurate financial records for various entities, prepare financial statements, and supervise bank reconciliations.

They will also need to coordinate with tax consultants to ensure timely filing of tax returns, handle accounting for real estate properties, and prepare annual budgets.

This role requires someone who can provide strict confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial and personal data.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records for personal, business, trust, and investment entities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
  • Supervise bank reconciliations, brokerage accounts, and investment transaction entries.
  • Coordinate with tax consultants to ensure timely filing of tax returns (direct and indirect taxes).
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as ESIC, PF, GST, and Shops & Establishment Act.
  • Handle accounting for real estate properties, including rental income and maintenance expenses.
  • Prepare annual budgets for personal, household, and philanthropic expenses and track variances.
  • Manage vendor payments, staff salaries, reimbursements, and petty cash.
  • Liaise with bankers, lawyers, investment managers, and service providers for smooth operations.
">Requirements:
  • CA Intermediate qualification is mandatory.
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in a high-net-worth individual or family office environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and investment accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, ERP.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
