Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Network Security Expert to lead the design and implementation of secure firewall access control lists (ACLs) to protect our cloud infrastructure.
- Design and implement secure firewall ACLs to safeguard cloud infrastructure
- Develop and maintain advanced networking concepts in cloud environments, including VPCs, firewalls, VPNs, tunneling, and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security controls into cloud-based systems
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Advanced understanding of networking concepts in cloud environments, including VPCs, firewalls, VPNs, tunneling, and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud (GCP or AWS preferred; Azure may also be considered if the candidate demonstrates strong networking fundamentals)
- Secondary Skills: Experience with Terraform (mid-level proficiency acceptable). For AWS candidates, experience with CloudFormation is acceptable if there is a willingness to ramp up on terraform.
AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty and Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer certifications are highly valued but not mandatory.
