Job Title: Cybersecurity Researcher

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and evaluating emerging technology solutions to enhance our security posture.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Understand the current network, cloud, and application setup.
  • Research and evaluate on emerging technology solutions to meet success criteria as defined in requirements provided by Infosec teams.
  • Draw risk scenarios and recommended actions based on the threat landscape.
  • Present research findings, reports, advisories to Organization Management.
  • Collaborate with Internal technology teams to make them aware and share best practices.
  • Participate in developing cyber security architecture, roadmaps, strategies, business cases, and remediation plans.
  • Perform advanced log analysis, forensics, malware analysis, network traffic, and other related activities as needed to determine new attack scenarios.
  • Evaluate new tools, processes, procedures, and technologies for improving security posture and recommend best practices.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in R&D.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including threat intelligence, phishing attacks, network segmentation, zero trust networks, identity management, and cyber defense.
  • Proven operational experience in installation of security platforms and understanding any underlying challenges to reduce business impact.
  • Proven capability to create and improve the strategy for threat areas.
  • Contributed to process automation, knowledge sharing, and training other members.
  • Expert capability to design and write scripts/programs from scratch using at least one programming language.
  • Excellent analytical abilities and a strong ability to think critically.
  • A self-driven individual contributor who can take initiatives to get things done.
  • Strong verbal and writing skills.
  • Fluent English in reading, writing, and speaking.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
  • Any degree/certification in cybersecurity, information security, forensics, analytics, or equivalent.
  • Total experience: 10+ years.
