Automation Test Engineer Job Description

Job Title: Automation Test Engineer
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end automated testing strategies across React frontend, Python backend, and PostgreSQL database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop test automation frameworks using modern web testing tools.
  • Create automated tests for Databricks data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Build CI/CD integration for automated test execution.
  • Mentor team members on testing best practices and framework adoption.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering.
  • Strong experience with web testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, WebdriverIO, or similar).
  • Proficient in API testing tools (Postman/Newman, Rest Assured, or equivalent).
  • Experience with data pipeline testing tools (Great Expectations, Soda, DBT test, or similar).
  • Strong Python skills for backend API testing.
  • Database testing experience (PostgreSQL preferred).
  • CI/CD pipeline integration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
