Job Description

This SAP Developer position is based in India and requires expertise in SAP S4 Fashion Solution application analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, maintenance, and support. The successful candidate will work on production issues, change requests, and new developments related to ABAP on HANA.

Responsibilities:

  • Working on Production Issues, Change Requests, New developments related to ABAP on HANA.
  • Using latest ABAP syntax and OOPS approach as coding practice.
  • Create Technical Designs from functional designs; Identify gaps/issues.
  • Understand overall development strategy including "hub" solutions for plug-n-play business partners (3PL, EWM, Customers, Suppliers).
  • Developing objects using CDS , OData and UI5 .
  • Prompt in update the WRICEF inventory and relevant tracking tools.
  • Develop expertise in ABAP Development.
  • Attend key process workshops & issue resolution sessions with focus on gaps and legacy integration.
  • Present status to Development leads at team meetings: Status, Issues, Key Activities.
  • Support the Technical Deployment IT Cutover Plan to align all shutdown, load, verification and startup activities for each deployment.
  • Verification of all test and production data conversion program.
  • Support the business during the rollout and implementation of new features and functionality.
  • As part of Long Term Support, performs technical designs, reviews, development, implementation, and continuous improvement programs and processes to provide.
  • All of the above ERP Program responsibilities.
  • Solidify technical requirements definition for small projects and defect resolution that ensures applications meet all project requirements and stay within budget.
  • SAP on Cloud knowledge is good to have.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a technical development discipline, computer science, or other relevant discipline required. Minimum 4 years of SAP ABAP on HANA development experience in Interface, Conversion, Reports, Proxy, Adobe forms, IDocs, BADI, BAPI, RFC Calls, LSMW, ALV Reports, BADI, Customer Exit and Enhancement components of WRICEF. Strong ABAP/4 development experience in one or more of the following OTC,PTP,MDG,FICO and PP Indepth experience on ABAP Objects, code modularization and performance optimization practices is required Experience in CDS views, AMDPS, OData, UI5 developments. Experience with object-oriented programming, ABAP Objects and ABAP Workbench. Participate in requirement and solution discussion, work on the build and support in testing. Minimum 1 full cycle SAP implementation experience. Cross functional knowledge of FI/CO, OTC, PTP, PP Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Experience in the use of Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, and Power Point. Proactive and enthusiastic to learn new skills, good team spirit.
