Job Overview:
  • To be a successful migration consultant, you must have hands-on experience in Windchill Migration using Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM).
  • You should possess a strong understanding of WBM tool execution, including extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Data migration is another key area where you should excel, particularly in CAD Data migration.
  • You are expected to have experience in at least one non-Windchill to Windchill data migration project.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of Windchill Architecture, database, and object models is essential.
  • You will work closely with customers to gather migration requirements, analyze source data, and create data mappings.
  • A solid grasp of scripting languages like Oracle and SQL Server for large data set analysis is required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills are crucial.
  • Prior experience in discreet manufacturing industry is advantageous, as is a degree in a relevant field.
  • With 7+ years of direct work experience in migration projects, you will drive process development and execution.
  • Familiarity with Medical Devices Industry and its regulations, such as UDI and Regulatory Hub, is a plus.
  • A broad understanding of enterprise-wide solutions like ERP, PLM, and others will serve you well.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Should be expert in Windchill Migration using Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM)
  • Should be expert in WBM tool execution
  • Experience in data migration including CAD Data migration
  • Experience in at least one non-Windchill to Windchill data migration
  • Should have good understanding of Windchill Architecture, database etc.
  • Should have good understanding of Windchill object models, relationships, content
  • Should have experience on working with Customer for Migration Requirements Gathering, Source Data Analysis and Data Mapping
  • Scripting Knowledge on Database - Oracle/SQL Server with large data set analysis
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in discreet manufacturing industry
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience
  • 7+ years direct work experience in migration projects including all aspects of process development and execution
  • Exposure to Medical Devices Industry and delivered projects in that space with knowledge around UDI and Regulatory Hub
  • Competent and proficient understanding of enterprise-wide solutions, such as ERP, PLM, and others
