About this role:

As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing software solutions that span multiple systems. You will also be involved in mentoring team members and collaborating with users to translate their needs into effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with technical colleagues and cross-functional partners to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Contribute to and review detailed specifications for complex systems and components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Promote and implement best practices in development processes, including code reviews.
  • Participate in various development environments, such as Agile and Waterfall, working flexibly with stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support early-career engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry developments to support the team's ongoing learning.
  • Design and work with complex data models, optimizing them for diverse use cases and needs.
  • Be willing to take on additional responsibilities as part of a dynamic, evolving team.

Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in software engineering with proficiency in multiple development methodologies.
  • Strong skills in data manipulation and optimization.
  • Expertise in Java 11, Spring Boot Rest API, and Angular 12, or similar frameworks.
  • Commitment to best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Interest in mentoring and supporting the development of others.
