Senior Power BI Developer Role

As a seasoned Senior Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Power BI reports and dashboards.

  • Develop and implement ETL processes using SSIS to extract data from multiple sources and load it into SQL Server databases.
  • Design and implement visualizations using various tools like tables, charts, maps, etc.
  • Write T-SQL code for stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers to support business intelligence requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Power BI report performance, data quality, and security.
  • Optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure proper configuration management and change controls.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5-6 years of IT experience in Analysis, Design, Development of Power BI dashboard and report publish.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of Data Warehouse using Fact Tables, Dimension Tables, star and snowflake schema modelling.
  • Good interpersonal skills, experience in handling communication and interactions between different teams.
  • Ability to analyze and translate functional specifications/user stories into technical specifications.
  • Experience in writing Functions and Stored Procedures.
