About the Role

This position is part of Amazon's FGBS ACES team, established in 2011. The team comprises 59 process improvement experts who work on projects across various areas, including Advertising, AWS, Stores, Tax, Transportation, and Treasury. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading Black Belt (BB) projects to address cross-functional issues related to financial operations, fulfillment operations, and vendor management.
  • Delivering financial savings through projects.
  • Designing and implementing mechanisms to improve operational excellence culture.

You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including tech and non-tech teams, to drive business outcomes. This role requires strong analytical skills, ability to make sense out of messy data, and courage to make recommendations that drive significant organizational change.

A day in the life of this role includes driving discussions with stakeholders, mentoring operations on YB/GB/BB projects, conducting data analysis, and designing solutions and future state processes.
