Groundwork Specialist

As a skilled Geotechnical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects that require in-depth knowledge of soil mechanics and basic engineering principles.

• Design and engineer subgrade and slope stability using cutting-edge technology.
• Analyse and provide reports like geotechnical investigations based on site-specific data.
• Responsible for geotechnical calculations and evaluations.

You will be working with a team of highly skilled professionals who are experts in geotechnical services. We provide analysis, engineering, and recommendations regarding subgrade reinforcements, buildability, groundwater, foundations, noise barriers, and retaining walls.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and engineering subgrade and slope stability.
• Providing geotechnical reports and evaluations based on site-specific data.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience of working with projects in the Nordics region.
• Good written and verbal English language skills (CEFR minimum level B1).
• A qualified degree in civil engineering from a reputable college in soil mechanics and basic engineering or similar.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Prior experience working with European standards (Eurocode) and Geotechnical design.

Additional qualifications include knowledge of Trimble Novapoint, MicroStation, ArcGIS applications, and experience of working with the Swedish Transport Administration.
