Job Title: Automated Test Engineer for Murex Modules

Job Description:

A skilled and experienced test engineer is required to design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for Murex modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts for Murex modules (Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Interfaces, etc.).
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools.
  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements and validate system behavior.
  • Implement automation frameworks and ensure reusability, maintainability, and scalability of scripts.
  • Track and log defects, and retest in coordination with development teams.
  • Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices.
  • Provide regular status updates and test progress reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Murex testing.
  • Hands-on experience in Murex automation tools.
  • A strong understanding of Murex architecture and workflows.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Java, Python) for automation.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA, ALM).
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for test data validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
