Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Functional Lead Analyst to join our team.
About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing functional incidents, resolving issues using FPSL and IFRS 17 expertise, and working closely with the business team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyzing FPSL CORE functional incidents from Production and resolving them using FPSL and IFRS 17 expertise along with the business team.
  2. Core FPSL Configurations along with Legal Entity and Business transaction parametrizations.
  3. Making pivots for subledger postings on contract/coverage and profit recognition portfolio levels for analyzing various issues to find the root cause of the problem and resolving them.
  4. Checking if master data is prepared properly with correct key dates, tranche start dates, and if postings are good with UBNI and IBNR lifecycle stages.
  5. Checking if postings at Profit Recognition portfolio and coverage levels are aligned.
  6. Running CVPM process, looking into errors and making test runs.
  7. Running closing process manually with all Period start and period closing process chains.
  8. Extracting Subledger posting documents from Result Data layer and analyzing results.
  9. Validating FPSL postings, Best Estimated cashflows and AFO reports, and working on deviations.
  10. Extracting discounting logs in case of deviations from expected values and looking into it.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of FPSL and IFRS 17.
