Quality Assurance Engineer

The ideal candidate for this Quality Assurance Engineer role will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionalities.
  • Execute a variety of tests, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, both manually and using automated tools (web and mobile applications).
  • Accurately identify, document, and track software defects from discovery through resolution using a bug-tracking system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure quality is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of test cases, test results, and test artifacts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in both manual and automated testing.
  • Technical expertise in test management and bug-tracking tools, test automation frameworks and tools, and scripting languages.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with browser testing tools.
