API Tester Position

We are seeking an experienced API tester to fill a challenging role. As an API tester, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive API test cases to ensure robust functionality.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Create and implement manual and automated API test cases to guarantee robust functionality.
  2. Validate API specifications using tools such as Swagger and Postman.
  3. Develop and maintain automated API test frameworks using RestSharp, Playwright, or similar tools.
  4. Perform end-to-end testing across API, Web/UI, and database layers.
  5. Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing for APIs.
  6. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve defects and improve test coverage.
  7. Write and execute SQL queries for backend validation and data integrity checks.
  8. Document test cases, test results, and ensure compliance with defined quality standards.
  9. Drive continuous improvement in test strategy, automation coverage, and efficiency.
  10. Support defect triage, RCA, and provide detailed defect reports for quick resolution.
