Investment Banking Associate Vice President

We are seeking a seasoned Investment Banking Associate Vice President to spearhead deal execution, client management, and strategic growth initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading transactions from due diligence to closing documentation, executing M&A, private equity, venture capital, ECM, and DCM deals, building relationships with investors, and preparing pitch decks, financial models, and business plans for fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Management: Oversee transactions from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Deal Execution: Execute complex M&A, private equity, venture capital, ECM, and DCM deals, leveraging expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, IPOs, and debt/equity instruments.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, including VCs, PEs, family offices, corporates, and angel networks, fostering trust and driving business growth.
  • Preparation of Financial Materials: Prepare high-quality pitch decks, financial models, and business plans for fundraising, showcasing the company's value proposition and growth potential.
  • Sector Research: Conduct thorough sector research to identify opportunities, staying ahead of market trends and competitor activity.
  • Presentation and Communication: Deliver compelling presentations at investor forums and client discussions, effectively communicating the company's vision and strategy.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with legal, tax, and compliance teams to ensure seamless deal structuring and execution.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Financial Modelling: Strong knowledge of financial modelling, valuation, and deal structuring, with expertise in Excel and other relevant tools.
  • Corporate Finance: In-depth understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, IPOs, and debt/equity instruments, with experience in deal execution and management.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint: Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with ability to create high-quality financial models and presentations.
  • Market Research: Excellent market research, business due diligence, and sector analysis skills, with ability to identify opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Client Relationship Management: Proven ability in client relationship management and business development, with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: MBA/PGDM in Finance/Strategy from Tier-1 B-schools, Chartered Accountant / CFA (USA) / FRM certification, and Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or Business Administration.
