Develop a clean and reliable video editor with export functionality on both Android and iOS.

About the Role

We need someone who can deliver a structured editor with solid export capabilities, starting from our provided starter project. The ideal candidate should have production experience in Flutter (async, ChangeNotifier or Riverpod) and a practical understanding of FFmpeg/media pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the core editing flow in Flutter: Import video, implement timeline thumbnail filmstrip with playhead, split at playhead and delete selected segment, preview playback that skips deleted segments.
  • Export videos using FFmpegKit: Single segment export - try -ss -t -c copy -movflags +faststart, fallback to libx264 + aac; Multiple segments trim/atrim + concat into a single MP4.
  • Implement progress UI, error handling, and post-export Open/Share/Gallery action. Ensure performance and handle edge cases gracefully.
  • Support Android & iOS differences (permissions, storage paths, build settings). Refactor code into services/state/UI layers, write a concise README, and basic tests.

Requirements
  • Production Flutter experience (async, ChangeNotifier or Riverpod)
  • Practical understanding of FFmpeg/media pipelines
  • Platform knowledge for both Android & iOS (permissions, storage, build/signing basics)
  • Clear communication and documentation
