US Audit Director

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced audit professional to fill the role of a full-time audit director. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients, leading a team of professionals, and ensuring timely and high-quality work execution.
In this capacity, the audit director will develop and maintain productive relationships with key client contacts, discuss workflow management strategies with the client, allocate resources to assigned work, and monitor performance against industry standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), proficiency in utilizing various audit tools and applications, and industry experience in Employee Benefit Plans (EBP), Healthcare, and Not-for-Profit (NFP).
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, and robust logical and reasoning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships and ensure timely delivery of high-quality services
- Lead and supervise a team of professionals
- Develop and implement workflow management strategies
- Monitor performance and identify areas for improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong background in GAAP and GAAS
- Proficiency in using various audit tools and applications
- Industry experience in EBP, Healthcare, and NFP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
