Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled LAN Security Engineer to design, implement, manage and troubleshoot secure enterprise networks while ensuring compliance with security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, manage Palo Alto Firewalls (physical and virtual appliances).
  • Manage monitor Palo Alto Firewalls including security policies, threat prevention, and URL filtering.
  • Maintain optimize firewall rulesets to ensure both security network performance.
  • Maintain manage Panorama for centralized firewall administration.
  • Monitor logs alerts investigate incidents troubleshoot firewall-related issues.
  • Plan execute firmware upgrades high-availability setups DR testing.
  • Configure manage troubleshoot enterprise switching infrastructure Cisco Catalyst 2700/3000/4000/9000 series.
  • Implement VLANs STP VTP EtherChannel HSRP/VRRP/GLBP QoS ACLs.
  • Handle advanced L3 routing on switches OSPF EIGRP BGP.
  • Perform network segmentation redundancy high-availability design.
  • Support escalations root cause analysis complex network issues.
  • Work closely with infrastructure security application teams deliver secure network solutions.
  • Create maintain technical documentation network diagrams standard operating procedures.

Technical Expertise:

  • Palo Alto Firewalls: Security profiles NAT VPNs Panorama management.
  • Strong understanding Networking protocols TCP/IP BGP OSPF EIGRP VLANs STP Identity & Access Management.
  • Minimum 10-15 years enterprise network on 7+ years hands-on experience enterprise network security managing team.
  • Excellent troubleshooting problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written verbal communication abilities.
