About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team at AspenTech. As a key member of our Product Management team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting industrial Manufacturing Execution System projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather business requirements and use cases from customers, sales, and customer service to inform the aspenONE Manufacturing Execution Systems roadmap strategy.
  • Prioritize roadmap deliverables and secure required development resources to ensure timely delivery of those roadmap items.
  • Track roadmap execution plan and teams' alignment around implementation trade-offs.
  • Interact with stakeholders to ensure aspenONE Manufacturing Execution Systems success.
  • Translate data gathered to build a case for decisions presented in the roadmap.
  • Champion the MES product vision and strategy, exhibiting good product judgement and setting clear objectives.
  • Communicate strategy to all relevant participants and stakeholders.
  • Support PM leadership for pricing and licensing strategies for aspenONE Manufacturing Execution Systems.
  • Work with R&D teams to define architecture, technologies, processes, and development efforts required for the delivery of MES products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer sciences.
  • Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in product management, project management, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of professional working experience in MES or Automation deployments as an asset.
  • Interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, with an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
  • Deep understanding and application of Agile project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to rationalize design decisions in a clear and objective manner.
  • Proven business acumen with ability to translate business objectives to application/architecture requirements.
  • At ease with business cases development, ROI, and margin analysis.
  • Ability to translate technical challenges into business-related impacts.
  • Knowledge of IIOT, Manufacturing Execution Systems, industrial data historians, data collection, data visualization, and reports.
  • Knowledge of cloud software development technology and modern practices.
  • Good communicator with ability to navigate complex organizations and maintain healthy connections with multiple task teams.
  • Great problem solver with ability to think through problems and develop solutions quickly.
  • Open-minded with ability to think within and outside the box.
