Lead Software Engineering Expert

We are seeking an exceptional software engineering expert to lead our design and development efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing cross-functional teams, driving cutting-edge technology adoption, and delivering high-quality production applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features and drive innovation
  • Managing the implementation of modern software engineering best practices to improve legacy applications
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define application architecture and ensure scalability, availability, and fault tolerance
  • Leading code/design reviews to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate planning

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 14 years of related experience, or 12 years with an advanced degree
  • Expert knowledge in performance, scalability, distributed architecture, and engineering best practices
  • Strong programming skills in an object-oriented language such as Java or C#, with proven work experience as a full stack developer
  • Experience working with modern Javascript frameworks like React and Angular, HTML, and CSS
  • Proficient in API fundamentals and best practices, REST API architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in engineering, technology or related field
  • Experience working with SaaS offerings in the technology and financial industries
