About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Regulatory Reporting Expert to join our team at State Street, where you will play a vital role in supporting the Liquidity and FINREP Team in preparing daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to local European regulators.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for applicable regulators.
  • Develop initial schedules and reports, including primary data provider capture points and work paper preparations.
  • Analyze financial data to complete filings, identify fluctuations, and uncover potential inaccuracies.
  • Manage audits and perform edit check reviews, following up on discrepancies.
  • Conduct reconciliations across products, reports, and schedules.
  • Execute source system data reconciliation versus General Ledger.
  • Process ABACUS DaVinci systems, including manual entries, data extractions, quality checks, and reconciliations.
  • Stay informed of regulatory changes and collaborate with management to develop processes for implementing new reporting requirements.
  • Maintain detailed procedures and documentation for these processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or equivalent.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in banking or financial services.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of successful project execution.
  • Ability to multitask and work under high-pressure deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work with other departments and represent the team positively.
  • Familiarity with bank reporting and local German/IFRS accounting.
Preferred Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to manipulate data.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting software (e.g., ABACUS DaVinci) is a plus.
  • Ability to write, tune, and execute complex SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg terminal as a research tool.
  • Financial and accounting skillset, knowledge of regulatory reports and forms.
