Delta Air Lines is a dynamic and fast-paced organization that requires exceptional professionals to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency in aircraft maintenance.

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team as a Senior Demand Planner.

Job Description:

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning all hangar maintenance events for assigned fleets, ensuring compliance with customer standards.
  • This role involves managing time controls, log/ERA/MEL, and maintenance programs tasks to prevent overruns and drive execution to plan.
  • The Senior Planner will proactively adjust hangar work packages to meet changing conditions, reducing deferrals and late additions.
  • Closely collaborating with the Hangar Demand Planning Project Management team to schedule AA projects onto hangar work packages.
  • This role requires effective communication and partnership with Line Demand Planning counterparts to prevent unscheduled out-of-service time.
  • The successful candidate will identify, prevent, and solve risks associated with forecasted plans related to relevant work packages.
  • Performing thorough reviews of materials, engineering documents, tooling, log pages, and other constraints to ensure visit readiness for incoming maintenance visits.

Requirements:

  • A self-starter who can work independently or within a team environment.
  • Effective organizational and communication skills to interact with business, technical management, staff, and partners.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to operational excellence in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work successfully across business units at all levels (front line to executive) with effective presentation skills, problem-solving abilities, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and consistently prioritizing safety and security for self and others.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Engineering Documents, Logs.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Maintenance Engineering, Maintenance Planning/Engineering Planning, Material Planning, Engine Planning, or Aircraft Planning experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
  • PMP Certificate or other professional certifications relative to the job description.
  • Knowledge of Delta Tech Ops policy and procedures, Delta aircraft types, and OEM PMD requirements.
  • Familiarity with Delta systems - SCEPTRE, TRAX, IFS - Maintanix, Hanger Work Bench, AMES, Empower, Tableau.

We offer an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
