Electrical Design Engineer Position

This is a challenging opportunity to work as an Electrical Design Engineer in the field of ELV systems. As part of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Electrical, Low Voltage (ELV) systems for various projects.

  • The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in handling ELV design activities, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience.
  • Strong familiarity with data center master plans, concepts, and schematics is essential.
  • A good understanding of TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers is required.

Our company requires an individual with strong technical skills and knowledge of ELV codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and reviewing basis of design documents
  • Preparing BMS IO summaries, sequences of operations, and cause & effect matrices for fire alarm systems
  • Creating detailed drawings for field devices and cable conduit layouts
  • Compiling tender documents with relevant design, technical specifications, material requisitions, data sheets, and BOQs as per requirement
  • Reviewing technical data sheets and shop drawings submitted by vendors/contractors

The successful candidate will possess excellent management and reporting capabilities, proficiency in 3D engineering review software like Navisworks, and strong communication and coordination skills.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated individual with excellent management and reporting capabilities.
  • Understanding of TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers.
  • Proficiency in 3D engineering and review of 3D models using Navisworks is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of ELV codes and standards is mandatory.
  • Competent user of MS Office 365: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A BE/B.Tech degree in Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering is required for this position.
