Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software enables companies to develop innovative electronic products. Our global team uses our tools to drive innovation and efficiency in the increasingly complex world of chip, board, and system design.

This role presents an opportunity to join a leading EDA technology team. The focus is advanced design-for-test (DFT) insertion and automatic test pattern generation (ATPG) for semiconductor designs.

The successful candidate will gain a deep understanding of scan design, on-chip clock controls, and IJTAG infrastructure in support of scan testing. They will work with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive technical solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing in-depth technical presentations and training material.
  • Collaborating with customers and Siemens stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Explaining complex principles in simple terms to broad audiences.
  • Traveling domestically and internationally as required.
  • Deploying existing and new DFT products in customer designs by enabling Application Engineers.
  • Working closely with key customers on deployment challenges.
  • Ensuring new product readiness through testcase development, documentation, and training.
  • Reviewing customer designs and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Gathering top issues blocking customer engagement success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in EDA, DFT, or SoC design.
  • Knowledge of design logic design languages, tool usage, and design flow steps.
  • Familiarity with ATPG, IEEE 1687 IJTAG, boundary scan, hierarchical DFT implementation.
  • Proficiency in LINUX and Windows environments.
