About this role

Our organization is seeking a skilled Oracle and Microservices Data Modeling expert to join our team.

  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, enterprise data modeling, and Oracle database administration are required.
  • 5+ years of experience working with PL/SQL, schema design, and performance tuning necessary.
  • 3+ years of experience designing data models for microservices or distributed architectures preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and document existing relational data models focusing on Oracle-based systems and legacy applications.
  • Identify dependencies, shared schemas, and tightly coupled data entities across business domains.
  • Define target-state logical and physical data models aligned with microservices and bounded context principles.
  • Design data partitioning, ownership boundaries, and communication patterns between microservices.
  • Collaborate with application architects, integration teams, and domain owners to align data models with service boundaries.
  • Provide guidance on data migration, transformation, and reconciliation strategies during the separation process.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, normalization, and performance in target-state models.
