Job Opportunity:

This role involves ensuring the continuous supply of generic formulations by developing and maintaining effective supply plans, coordinating with manufacturing sites, API planning, logistics, procurement, quality, and commercial teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Create medium-to-long term production plans based on demand forecasts, inventory norms, transit time, and manufacturing capacities.
    • Develop monthly rolling production schedules in alignment with monthly sales forecasts, tender visibility, in-transit stock, and API/RM/PM availability.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams for timely execution of production plans.
  • Supply Chain Management:
    • Optimize inventory holdings to avoid stock-outs and obsolescence, while maintaining optimum levels of RM, PM, and FG.
    • Monitor capacity constraints, escalate risks, and propose mitigation actions to ensure business continuity.
    • Collaborate with finance and commercial teams to align supply plans with market requirements.
  • Coordination & Reporting:
    • Act as a liaison between production, QA/QC, regulatory, procurement, API planning, logistics, and commercial teams.
    • Generate periodic reports on supply KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), inventory turnover, etc., and analyze supply chain performance to recommend process improvements.
  • Compliance & Master Data:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date master data in ERP/SAP systems, adhering to cGMP, GDP, and other regulatory compliance norms.
    • Educate teams on regulatory requirements and best practices to ensure seamless supply planning activities.
