We are a multi-specialty hospital seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join our team.
Job Description:
A Gastroenterologist is responsible for diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal, hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic disorders.
Duties:
- Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal, hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic disorders
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures (Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Capsule Endoscopy, etc.)
- Manage hepatology cases, including viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver failure
- Provide comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, and emergency gastroenterology services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient management
- Participate in academic training programs, CMEs, and clinical quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- DM (Gastroenterology) from a recognized institute (mandatory)
- Strong expertise in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting endoscopic procedures (Upper GI, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Capsule Endoscopy, etc.)
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach
- Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary hospital environment
- Prior experience in a tertiary care hospital preferred, though fresh DM graduates are also encouraged to apply
