Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at The Phoenix Mills Ltd. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations and laws.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have expertise in computing advance taxes, preparing income tax computations, and filing Returns of Income. They will also be responsible for preparing Tax Audit reports, Transfer pricing reports, and assisting in TDS related compliances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Computing advance taxes for group companies on a quarterly basis
  • Preparing income tax computations, filing Returns of Income, and Form 26AS reconciliation for group entities
  • Preparing Tax Audit reports along with annexures
  • Preparing Transfer pricing reports of companies
  • Assisting in preparing details required for scrutiny assessment under Section 143(3) and reopening of completed assessment under Section 148 of the Income Tax Act
  • Preparing Monthly MIS for management
  • Drafting replies for rectifications, appeal effects, and follow-up for pending refunds
  • Assisting in TDS related compliances and drafting reply to notices
  • Keeping track of notices and orders received from the income tax department
  • Coordinating with statutory auditor, tax consultants, etc., for income tax matters
  • Yearly filing of specified financial transaction statement
  • Finalizing contingent liability statement, computing deferred taxes, and ETR for group entities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should also have a proven track record of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
