Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned expert to lead our manufacturing data migration initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the successful cleansing and integration of manufacturing data across various systems.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Ensuring timely completion of data cleansing tasks for manufacturing data
  • Collecting and validating data for manual/construction objects on time
  • Collaborating with IT teams to develop value mappings for smooth data transfer
  • Maintaining master lists for assigned data objects, as required
  • Providing business insights to technical teams for extraction and conversion from legacy systems
  • Verifying data quality throughout the migration process for assigned data objects
  • Ensuring data accuracy and relevance, aligning with internal/external stakeholders' expectations
  • Loading manual data into target systems where necessary for assigned objects
  • Executing and approving data verification scripts

Requirements

To succeed in this challenging role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Detailed understanding of business processes in the manufacturing area, including materials, inventory, batches, BOMs, routings, and plant maintenance in SAP
  • Experience working with ERP systems in manufacturing environments
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to manage stakeholder expectations
  • Fluency in English (additional languages an asset)
  • Strategic and hands-on approach to problem-solving, with experience running meetings, tracking progress, and managing issues
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Prior experience in ERP project implementation and data migration preferred
