Cloud Native Java Developer Role

About this position: We are seeking a skilled cloud native developer with experience in designing and developing scalable backend services and applications on Azure.

  • Develop, test, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
  • Design and implement scalable APIs and microservices architecture on Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.
  • Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Microsoft Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, etc.).
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and management.
  • Implement security, authentication, and authorization best practices using Azure Active Directory and other Azure security features.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues efficiently.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a cloud native Java developer with strong knowledge of Java 5+ and cloud-based technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) and cloud-based development.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development principles.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for efficient application deployment and management.
  • Strong knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices and implementation for secure application development.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git for efficient collaboration and code management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
