Design and Build Scalable Containerized PlatformsJob Description:

A successful platform engineer at a leading financial institution designs, deploys, and maintains robust containerized platforms.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in building and managing Kubernetes platforms in production environments.

They should be proficient in a procedural or scripting programming language (e.g., Python, Go) and experienced with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery principles (e.g., GitHub Actions, Concourse, ArgoCD, Jenkins).

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable internal Kubernetes/container platforms for deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications.

Additionally, they will develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and documentation to streamline deployment and management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable internal Kubernetes/container platforms
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and documentation
  • Ensure platform stability and performance by monitoring system metrics, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing resources
  • Implement observability solutions like monitoring, logging, and tracing tools
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams
Requirements:
  • At least 7+ years of experience in OpenShift engineering, including public cloud experience
  • Experience in platform engineering, infrastructure automation, SRE, or similar roles
  • Understanding of Kubernetes architecture, concepts, and components
  • Proficiency in a procedural or scripting programming language (e.g., Python, Go)
  • Experienced with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery principles (e.g., GitHub Actions, Concourse, ArgoCD, Jenkins)
