Job Title: Funding Specialist

Job Description:

The Funding Specialist will be responsible for assisting in innovative debt raising avenues that are cost-effective and help the overall financial health of the Ampersand Group. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge and execution capabilities to identify additional funding opportunities, develop strong relationships with banks and financial institutions, and ensure timely compliance with funding lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and explore new funding avenues to meet the Ampersand Group's funding requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to initiate and negotiate innovative funding deals
  • Assist in reducing the effective cost of funds and identifying opportunities to reduce security coverage for existing loans
  • Partner with the Global Treasury head to effectively deploy surplus funds
  • Collaborate with business teams to add value in new and innovative banking structures and modeling
  • Nurture professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely business goals and objectives
  • Ensure strict timelines for funding lines and compliance
  • Monitor and analyze changes in business or external factors to ensure a constant vigilant approach
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for data collation, critically analyze data, and prepare future projections
  • Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for data submission and loan disbursement
  • Monitor renewal and repayment schedules, ensure release of securities, and compliance with closed loans

Internal Key Interactions:

  • Interfacing with Finance, Business Teams, and other departments as required

External Key Interactions:

  • Candidate needs to be externally market-focused and have strong relationships with banks and financial institutions

Competencies Required:

  • Good knowledge of banking regulations, exchange control regulations, and RBI guidelines relating to fund raise
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Well-versed with Accounting ERPs such as Tally, Microsoft, SAP
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a good sense of responsibility
  • Team player with high energy levels
  • Ability to work independently under pressure with a can-do attitude
  • Domain expert with strong control over key concepts of Treasury & Banking
  • Knowledge of preparation of CMA and other Financial Modelling along with accounting MIS is a Must

Qualification:

Chartered Accountant / MBA with 5 - 7 years of experience
