About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced merchandiser to drive our division's growth and success through effective merchandising strategies, product development, and client relationship management.
- This includes implementing strategic merchandising plans tailored to the woven segment to achieve divisional objectives and sales targets.
- The ideal candidate will identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality garments.
- Regular reports and presentations for senior management will be prepared, providing insights into divisional performance, key metrics, and actionable recommendations for these segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement strategic merchandising plans tailored to the woven segment to achieve divisional objectives and sales targets.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality garments.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into divisional performance, key metrics, and actionable recommendations for these segments.
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in merchandising, product development, or related roles within the woven industry is necessary.
- Proven track record of success in driving product innovation, managing supplier relationships, and achieving sales targets within the woven segment is essential.
- Proficiency in software and tools, ERP systems, WFX and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- A strategic thinker with a keen understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior specific to the woven industry is required.
Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications, as per industry standards.
