US Tax Specialist

Seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage tax deliverables and client engagements. The ideal candidate will have experience in US GAAP general accounting, including preparing tax returns, collecting tax forms, and tracking client paperwork.
The role involves producing tax reports, assessing and researching difficult tax issues, and identifying solutions. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's tax database, ensuring compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
We are looking for an individual who can keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes, and prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Prepare and self-review all types of tax returns.
- Assist in driving project deliverables.
- Identify solutions to complex tax issues.
- Maintain the tax database.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Stay up-to-date on tax-related trends.
- Produce accurate tax reports.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's Degree in Accounting with US Taxation experience.
- Intermediate CA, CA, CPA, or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification (or progress towards certification).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic.
- Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and other US accounting systems.
- Proficiency in intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
