Job Opportunity: Audit Senior Associate

Audit & Assurance is a dynamic and growing sector within our organization. As an Audit Senior Associate, you will play a vital role in providing valuable inputs to our clients by leveraging your skills and experience to give them confidence in the validity of financial statements and business-critical information or processes.

We work with various audit firms worldwide, including USA, UK, Canada, and Australia.

The primary responsibilities of an Audit Senior Associate include performing audit procedures in complex areas, building technical competence, and serving as the primary day-to-day contact for the audit client.

Auditing Opportunities

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with audit clients and engagement teams.
  • Direct fieldwork, inform engagement leaders about audit engagement status timely.
  • Complete audit procedures and documentation for higher risk areas to broaden technical skills.
  • Contribute ideas/opinions to audit teams.
  • Develop understanding of AKM service offerings.
  • Prepare draft financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP (FRS 102).
  • Ensure all work papers are complete, consistent, and contain procedures performed, evidence obtained, and conclusions reached with appropriate documentations.
  • Identify key issues facing clients and discuss possible solutions to increase quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 1-5 years related work experience in a similar audit practice firm.
  • Experience with Big 4 or Big 10 will be an advantage.
  • Accounting, finance, or related field preferred OR graduate degree with approximately 1-5 years related work experience in fields of statutory audits under US GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS.
  • Experience in accounts preparation under FRS 102 and relevant applicable standards will be an advantage.
  • U.S. Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license or sufficient coursework to achieve US CPA certification in the US state of primary work location.
  • Experience in planning, execution, and reporting on audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with US GAAP and US GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP.
