Job Description:

As a Data Modeler Lead, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive data models to support health plan operations. This includes developing logical and physical data models that meet analytical and regulatory reporting requirements.

  • Design and implement data models for member enrollment, claims processing, provider networks, and medical management.
  • Develop data lineage documentation and data dictionaries for healthcare datasets.
  • Establish and enforce data modeling standards and best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead data warehousing initiatives using platforms like Databricks or ETL tools like Informatica.
  • Architect scalable data solutions capable of handling large volumes of healthcare transactional data.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and ensure data quality.

Technical expertise in data modeling, dimensional modeling, data vault methodology, and enterprise data modeling techniques is required. Proficiency in SQL and experience with Oracle Exadata and cloud data warehouses are also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of data modeling experience, with at least 4 years focused on healthcare/health plan data.
  • Expertise in data governance, data quality, and data security.
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling tools like Hackolade, ERwin, or equivalents.
