Job Description:
  • End-to-End Design Ownership: We seek an individual who can take full ownership of projects from start to finish, ensuring exceptional quality while working independently.
  • Consumer-Centric Experience Design: The ideal candidate will craft intuitive, visually striking designs for consumer-facing mobile products, focusing on user empathy and usability.
  • Innovation & Gamification: We're looking for someone who can integrate gamified experiences and micro-interactions to boost engagement and retention, drawing inspiration from leading consumer apps.
  • User Research & Insights: As part of our team, you'll partner with product managers and researchers to understand consumer needs, translating insights into impactful design decisions.
  • Prototyping & Visual Excellence: You'll create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma that push boundaries while staying grounded in brand and usability principles.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you'll work closely with engineers, product managers, and marketing to ensure designs are not only beautiful but also technically feasible and aligned with business goals.
  • Usability Testing & Iteration: Conducting usability tests to validate ideas and iterating rapidly based on feedback and data is crucial for success in this role.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 6+ years in product design, primarily in consumer-facing mobile products.
  • Design Expertise: Mastery of Figma and other modern design tools, with an exceptional eye for typography, color, layout, and motion design.
  • Independent Execution: Proven track record of leading projects end-to-end with minimal guidance, delivering designs that move key metrics.
  • Consumer Empathy: A deep understanding of user psychology and behaviors, translating them into emotionally resonant experiences.
  • Research-Driven Approach: Experience using user research and analytics to inform design choices.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled at simplifying complex requirements into elegant, functional design solutions.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong communication skills to clearly present design rationale and build alignment with cross-functional partners.
  • Platform Fluency: Expertise in designing for both iOS and Android platforms, with a solid grasp of platform-specific guidelines and best practices.
