Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
The Opportunity
As a Threat Hunting Manager at FICO, you will oversee proactive and interactive threat hunting efforts to identify potential threats and mitigate risk exposure. Your team will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement threat hunting strategies and use cases based on threat intelligence and situational analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute threat-hunting strategies to proactively identify and mitigate advanced cyber threats.
- Lead a team of security researchers in researching threat actor trends, malware, and attack vectors, including ransomware/APT operators.
- Contribute to the strategic direction for threat hunting strategies and best practices to enhance the organization's cyber security posture.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber threats and technologies, including MITRE ATT&CK and enterprise security solutions like XDR, SIEM, TIP, XSOR, WIZ, and OSINT tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement threat hunting strategies and use cases based on threat intelligence and situational analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Highly technical hands-on background developing hypothesis, detection queries, and proficiency in query languages like KQL, SPL, etc.
- Strong research, analytical, writing, briefing, interpersonal, and managerial skills.
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK TTPs, NIST cyber incident response framework, THMM, threat-hunting frameworks, best practices, and methodologies.
- Experience conveying technical information to stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
- Able to inspire and mentor other team members.
