Job Description

This role involves analyzing company financials, assessing industry trends, and monitoring economic developments to support decision-making. As an Equity Research Analyst at GEPL Capital, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, creating financial models, researching market trends, and providing investment recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quarterly and annual evaluations of the company's performance through financial statement analysis and review of investor presentations, as well as MD&A, to understand management's industry outlook.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and perform evaluations based on historical return analyses.
  • Monitor daily news and corporate actions to provide timely insights and advisories to the team.
  • Analyze and provide detailed reports on upcoming IPOs and assess the company's future growth prospects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • NISM Series XV - Research Analyst Certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Equity Research or a similar role.
  • Experience in portfolio review would be beneficial.
